Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 1977. She's a well-known actor in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness Project, and is an integral part of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. Her research at the GI-TOC concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and various forms of violence that occur in the framework of illicit economies. Her research interests include the impact of organised crime on human rights and humanitarian rights, and policies and laws. Ana Paula has an LL.M. cum ex laude (with honors) with honors International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She also holds the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations by Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula received a magnacum honors bachelor's degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. She is a qualified lawyer who worked at an attorney firm that specialized in legal issues involving public law for more than four years. The past experience she has had also involved assisting roles at non-governmental organizations headquartered at Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
