
Amanda Louise Holden was born on February 16, 1971. She is an English actress, media personality and singer. Since 2007, she has been an adjudicator on the TV talent show Britain's Got Talent on ITV. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on the weekdays. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent most of her childhood in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she joined the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also on TV in three seasons of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She also was a participant in three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" featuring Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she appeared alongside Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay, and Aleha Dixon. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she joined the show.
